This is the Kobzar by Taras Shevchenko.
It is not only a symbol of our nation, but also a memory of childhood and the scent of home — which is currently under occupation.
There are two copies of the Kobzar in our family. They belonged to our parents, and now my sister and I each have one.
It is a symbol of faith and hope in our victory —
and in the possibility of returning to our native city, to our loved ones.
