Hello! We are Andriy and Petro Ozyumenko, sculptors and true Kyivans. And we are here to present to you our artifacts.
For example, I chose this romantic item from my childhood. It’s a fossil that’s about 150 million years old, dating back to the time of the dinosaurs. I got it back in the last century, and it’s still with me, following me through life. I always imagined it was some kind of magical sea flower. But recently, some paleontologist friends suggested it might actually be a dinosaur tooth that crushed shells. I liked that version too. But it’s just a theory — we’re still reflecting on the origins of this sentimental item from our childhood.
And here is an icon — a family heirloom gifted to us by our grandfather. It depicts Anthony and Theodosius of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. They were real Kyivans, and they accompany us through life, protecting our city. We really appreciate having such an item in our collection — an example of authentic Ukrainian baroque. We love these kinds of treasures and artifacts — a true blessing from God. Glory to God for everything!
